SHORT TERM TRIPS
Step 1: Come on a vision trip
A vision trip consists of 2-4 decision makers in your church.
Your team will get to see the church planting movement taking place in Togo and Benin.
You will see national leaders who are planting churches and raising up leaders.
You will see how voodoo and the exportation of precious human life through the slave trade has affected the culture and work here and you will see how the gospel is transforming lives.
We will schedule a post trip follow up meeting to discuss a personally curated engagement plan for your church to help us with our vision of seeing 190,000 disciples.
Step 2: Bring others on a short term trip geared toward their gifts and abilities.
We have 3 short-term trip options for you and your church.
Leadership/Spiritual Development Trip (2-6 members)
Vocational Training Trip (2-6 members)
Discipleship Trip (4-8 members)
Leadership + Spiritual Development
Your team will see the church planting movement taking place in Togo and Benin and take part in our goal of gospel saturation through leadership development. This could include holding a conference for national leaders, meeting with small groups of leaders, helping with camp trainings, meeting with Converge global workers, etc.
Vocational Training
Your team will get to see the church planting movement taking place in Togo and Benin and take part in our goal of helping develop leaders who can financially sustain ministry. This could include teaching a business course or trade to a cohort of leaders. As Needed.
Trades needed, but not limited to include: electric, carpentry, welding, plumbing, masonry, HVAC, agriculture, mechanic, etc.
Discipleship Trip
Our prayer is that these trip members will become some of the best leaders you have in your church.
Your team will be embedded into the church planting movement taking place in Togo and Benin. You will see how voodoo and the exportation of precious human life through the slave trade has affected the culture and work and how the gospel is transforming lives. You will participate in the discipleship process with each other as well as with national leaders.
Each team will get to experience life in another culture and prayerfully recognize their part in the Great Commission, at home and around the world . Regardless, the hope is that they will leave forever changed and will have grown to fall more in love with Christ and His mission.
