Stephanie Alderman
Togo Church Planting Project
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
My name is Stephanie and I'm a second-generation global worker. My parents, a bush pilot and nurse, began church planting in Togo when I was 2 years old. Affected by seeing God change the lives of the Togolese, I came to believe that God was leading me to a life of service overseas. I landed on the ground in 2018 as part of the 6º team focusing on Next Generations.
Why are you working with 6DI?
I'm passionate about and driven to see these developing leaders become reproducing, bold faith followers of Christ. With 70% of the population under the age of 30, we have a prime opportunity to reach and form this next generation of disciples. I am absurdly blessed to have the opportunity to live out God's plan for my life. Thank you for joining us!
What is your favorite person (other than Jesus) in the Bible and why?
Esther because of her courage and choosing to be used by god despite the danger. She became the instrument to save a nation.
Finish this sentence. On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me...
Preparing for and going to church.
When you are not working, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy talking with family, reading, working out, puzzles, and game nights with friends.
How can those who are reading your profile be praying for you?
Please pray for wisdom. James 5:14 says if we ask of God, He give wisdom liberally. Pray that God would help me to see with special insight what God sees.
